I don’t know if I’ve ever photographed a couple more beautiful and more in love. Van and Lee met in Pioneer Square, so it was only obvious that they get married there! It was a typical March day- super windy and on the verge of dumping rain. We started off in Belltown to get dressed, then hopped in the car to their ceremony site in the historic Smith Tower. With her gorgeous flowers in tow, she brought her father with her- she had a locket with his pictures attached to her bouquet. They were married by a great friend of theirs (who, by the way, was fighting tears the entire ceremony!) in one of the sweetest ceremonies I’ve ever been to. The party went late into the night at the Waterfront Bar and Grill, where Lee works, so they were surrounded by even more of their friends and family. Van and Lee are so in love, I felt honored to be able to capture this day for them!
