Since I’m so behind on blogging this month, it’s no secret that Suzi and Casey were married in the middle of September in the historic coastal destination town of Port Gamble… their wedding is featured on my new website!
Suzi and Casey wanted a classy, elegant, yet simple wedding. They called Keri of Bliss Events to help with the planning and design and coordinating, and the wedding was just that- classy and gorgeous, stressless and fun. They rented a couple of houses in historic Port Gamble (think of a town the size of Walnut Grove from Little House on the Prarie, with a church to match!) to get ready.

From there it was a short five minute walk up the road to the quaint and historic St. Paul’s. Blink as you drive by and you’ll miss it! I love love love the cornflower blue walls, the old numbered pews, and crisp white molding. Did you know that they still have the seating chart posted in the lobby from the early days of the church (which were what, the late 1800’s perhaps?)? The ceremony was both comical and sweet (thanks to officiant Annemarie Juhlian).

After the ceremony, we walked back to the Vista Pavillion that overlooks the water, finding fun places to stop and shoot along the way, taking our time and enjoying the walk. The reception was laid back and fun- a game of softball and the best Bananas Foster wrapped it up (THANK YOU Galluci’s for introducing me to the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth!)
