Well, it’s about time, eh?  Only 9 months late, just barely in time for some exciting news… but here it is, finally.

Megan and Ian had the most charming wedding celebration in September at one of our favorite Seattle wedding venues, Golden Gardens.  With the help of Michelle Engvall (one of my absolute favorite wedding planners, and my list is short!  if anyone can make it happen, she can!!!), they created a casual beachside affair with all the flavor of a pub.

That’s right.  A pub.  Read what this is all about on my post about Megan and Ian’s Ballard engagement session.

Congrats, you guys, and thank you for including me in your lives over the last couple of years!!!  Cheers!

Venue: Golden Gardens Bathhouse

Coordinator: My pal Michelle Engvall, Married and More With Michelle (you can see more images and detail info on her blog here)

Dress: Amy Kuschel

Rings: Greenlake Jewelry

Hair and Makeup: My gal Erin Skipley

Floral and Design: My fav Bella Rugosa

Food: Herban Feast, yum!

Beer: Hales

Music: Ockham’s Razor (fyi, if you’re on the fence about it, hiring a pub band to play live music for your wedding is a GREAT idea.  Never seen so many folks of all ages on the dance floor before, and I’ve been to a few weddings. After I was supposed to go home and was so tired from a long day in the sun, all I wanted to do was hang out and listen to the music. It was AWESOME. 😉

Officient: Rich Sclafani (I loved Rich.  He was so sweet, and so endearing, and pretty funny to boot.  And get this: Megan found him when she delivered his wife’s baby just two months before their wedding! Turned out she was getting married soon, he was a wedding officient, and the rest was history!)
