Erika and Michael were married last year. We met through Get Hitched Give Hope, when Erika was a just planning her wedding. She snatched up all SORTS of great items for her wedding day including this lovely gothic Bella Umbrella, and yours truly, for a post-wedding portrait shoot. In fact, she is the poster girl of good-deal-getting at Get Hitched Give Hope.

I met up with these two silly cats down in Georgetown, where they own their very own super rad specialty wine and beer shop (and huge GHGH supporter!) Full Throttle Bottles. It was only fitting that we photograph around the old brewery, which was built about 1903! Did you know…. it was the 6th largest in the whole world by 1912? Me neither!!couple by an old brick wall with a vintage black umbrellareflection of leaves and legs on brick in georgetown seattleThen we were off to photograph in the building that Full Throttle Bottles resides in, among a medley of vintage jukeboxes, old fashioned kiddie cars, charming antique signs, and robots (yes, I said robots). The owner of, well, pretty much ALL of Georgetown has QUITE a rad collection of colorful and whimsical antiques, including a large elephant, Tusko. For a measly $.25 you just may get to ride him.

Did I tell you Erika is a race car driver? Oh yep. Yep, she is.checkered flag red patent leather rock n roll shoessilly couple racing small vintage kid carsvintage wurlitzer jukebox

Next time you’re in the market to try something new, pop on over to Full Throttle Bottles. Erika and her staff are so knowledgeable, and were able to pinpoint my tastes for a handful of really awesome party favors for me to leave our lifestyle portrait shoot with! Now if I only had some cider… right now!! Cheers!!
