There are SO SO many wedding planning blogs and websites out there. All boast to have “the best vendors” and “the best advice” with the “newest style ideas” and “latest trends.” Very few live up to those claims- some even copy content and advertisers from the GOOD sites as they build their own reputation.
Started a few years back by some wonderful friends of mine, Junebug Weddings has quickly soared to the top of trusted Seattle planning resources. They answer the hot topics, do their own research, rack up the frequent flier miles, and limit their advertisers to a very tight number. Kudos to these girls, it’s been a whirlwind of activity and a challenging road, I’m sure. Not only do they have a HUGE southern California launch coming up to add to the original Seattle site, but they have a BOOK coming out too!
The gals at Junebug called me to ask if I would be the newest member of their Photography Hot List. And boy would I! These are highly coveted spots, I was so excited it was finally my turn. (and yes, it’s okay with my Lulu friends! Both sites serve different functions and have quite different vendors and business models.)
So if you’re looking to plan a wedding anytime soon, or just like to browse the style section of the mags, go give their site a looksee!
