This is they type of wedding that little girls’ dreams are made of.  A stunning bride in a dramatic, glamorous ballgown.  A handsome groom that will give any James Bond a run for his money.  A European handkerchief, bought by a pregnant mother, that waited twenty-something years to be handed to the woman that her son would someday marry.  A European-flavored celebration, speckled with fine custom chocolate bars, accordion serenades, and a historic stone church.  A date belonging to a bride’s grandparents, married 50 years before her.

Oh, but it gets even better.  Let’s back up a few years to 1st grade.  This is where Sarah and Nathan first met.  Sarah even wrote about him in her diary, which, naturally, was framed and on display at the wedding!  When it was time for Nathan to propose, he took her back to their classroom on a little trip down memory lane, ending in a most very important question (you can see their engagement portraits HERE).

Here are just a few (okay, maybe a smidge more than a few, wink wink) images from their day.

This is a moment during their first look of the day.

Custom cufflinks bearing Nathan’s family business.

Sarah included copies of their first grade class picture, along with their story at every place setting.

The famous diary entry!!!  If she only knew then where she’d be today…

Our photobooth was a hit-people were lined up before it was even open!

Thank you Sarah and Nathan, for bringing us in like family on such a special day for you and your family.  It truly was a wonderful day.
