Last month, I was invited to one of my favorite caterers’ venues for a fun little tasting and exhibition. I always have a good time at these; I get to chat with brides that I’ve been emailing with, meet more who have been reading my blog, and hang out with industry friends. And have some great food and bevvies. Win-win. This tasting, though, was destined to be just a little bit different: Lisbet, Heather, Vicki, and their crew decided to throw a cocktail bridal tasting with a dash of 50’s Mad Men-themed style!!!

There were old-fashioned cocktails and beverages.

Anne designed exquisite topiaries.

The cupcakes (both mini AND full sized) were a hit, especially these MARTINI cupcakes! And yes, you could taste the vodka. Quite well, thank you.

Pedersen’s designed a silver, red, and black tabletop.

3-2-1 Foto’s photobooth was a hit, as always! The lighting is superb, if I don’t say so myself 🙂

Mellow grooves mixed by Brian added to the mellow atmosphere.

If you’re planning a wedding, a caterer’s tasting is a great way to chat with vendors and see them in action! There are tastings by the city’s best caterers peppering calendars all over the city, so you’re bound to try some great food, meet some great vendors, and hopefully get a little wedding planning done!! Ravishing Radish’s next tasting is coming up at the Sanctuary At Admiral the first week in April, so contact them for more info and to RSVP!
