Wowzas.
When I saw Junebug Wedding’s annual collection of the “World’s Best Wedding Photography: The Best From The Best 2009” late late last night, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Among such celebrated and world-renowned wedding photographers as Jose Villa, Elizabeth Messina, Angelica Glass, Chenin Boutwell, Yervant, and The Image is Found, there it is. One of my favorite images from this year, of Erik & Kelly’s sweet Seattle wedding.
Looking back, 2009 was a really wonderful year. I got settled into my new studio in Greenlake, moved into our first REAL “grownup” place, got some rad press, photographed some amazing people, worked with some really wonderful vendors, met a boatload of new photographer friends, raised a whopping amount for charity, became part of 3 wonderful communities of top notch photographers, designed and launched a custom website, and grew tremendously as a photographer and artist.
Here’s to hoping that 2010 will be even bigger and more insane! Cheers!
