Hitched: Melanie + Carl

Glamour meets wine country for a gorgeous wedding just outside of Seattle.

In July Melanie and Carl had a huge summery celebration at DeLille Cellars in Woodinville. I couldn’t wait to see what this gorgeous lady had up her sleeves- she’s been planning, glueing, snipping, tying, and visualizing for months (although, I swear she’s been clipping ideas since she was a little girl… right Melanie???? ;). The day turned out just stunning, so many details and such gorgeous weather.

When we were talking about her plans for the bid day, I recognized Melanie’s florist’s name…. we went to junior high together. Small, small world…. and she did a great job.

Please don’t hate me when I tell you this, Melanie (cause I know you’re reading this!!!), but I had you guys dance partly because it would make a cute shoe series and partly because it was fun to watch!!!

Little tears streaming down his cheek- this little ring bearer must’ve had something goooo-oood to scream about (most likely not…). Love this little Dicken’s character, yes, I do.

Near miss on the nose-pickage (y’all know how I love pics of little kids digging for gold.). Cute anyways (thanks Lily!!).

Beautiful notes Melanie and Carl made to tell their guests that they’ve made a donation on their behalf to a memorial scholarship fund to the art school Melanie’s sister attended, in her name. The most lovely and thoughtful favor I may have ever seen.

Did you know DeLille makes awesome wine? They have donated a ginormous bottle for us to auction off at this year’s Get Hitched Give Hope benefit in October!

p.s. We get to sample A LOT of cake. This one was DELECTABLE. You could smell it wafting through the kitchen doors as they were cutting it.

Thank you guys for inviting us into your lives for such a fun year. Melanie- you are gorgeous, and Carl, she’s lucky to have you by her side. The wedding was beautiful and a success, can’t wait to work on your album!!!! XO!
